Celebrity Real Estate - Marlon Brando Edition
One of Marlon Brando's former homes has hit the market for $3.495 million. The home is located about the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, and contains three bedrooms and four bathrooms. Originally built in 1926, the 4,363 square foot home retains its Spanish Revival style. See pictures of the property at the LA Times.
Very cool house. The decorating is for shit, but I could definitely make this work.
ReplyDeleteThe view is the only redeeming feature of this house.
ReplyDeleteThis is a piece of clothing I would buy because it is SO fabulous and beautiful without trying it on and it would sit in my closet as I realize once again that I will always be a perfectly fitted jeans and hoodie girl.
ReplyDeleteI like it. Drcorating cld use freshening up. That said, i thought when brando died, nicholson bought his house, so when did brando live in this house?
ReplyDeleteSold last year for $5.8M so taking a loss on this one. May be the angle but those stairs look treacherous!
ReplyDeleteCrikey are those stairs wide enough to hold a woman's size 9 or 10??? Let alone a male foot...I hate it when the stairs are too narrow.
DeleteLOL @Kat!
ReplyDeleteI dislike the architecture and the kitchen. A long curving countertop is counter productive for cooking and the island is oddly place. It reminds me of the Flinstones house.
*oddly placed
Deletebasic shit house that some prat will buy so he can hold parties in brandos living room
ReplyDelete@sugar bread-I haven't heard "prat" since school.Combined with"basic shit house",I literally lol'ed
DeleteAs long as you aren't prone to tripping while stepping up into a room, down into a room or slipping on an insanely narrow tile staircase, you'll be okay. Also what's up with the enormous price drop? 2.5 million dollars in one year? What the hell kind of disclosures come with that? Did the last earthquake knock it off the foundation or has the ghost of Brando finally made an appearance? For that kind of scratch, I'd rather pickup a nice ranch near Santa Fe or Taos.
ReplyDeleteIt is the fisheye lens distorting the stairs and making the room appear larger - those are normal width stairs as can be seen further up the staircase spiral.
