  1. Yeah why is there a doll on the table? Odd..this whole union is strange to me.

  2. And Stephen Fry gets divorced in 3, 2, 1...

  3. Thus proving that scheming gold diggers know no gender.

Snarky snark aside, why do men of a certain age think they have found true love with someone who is young enough to be their children (or their children's children)? Where is your shared point of reference? I do not understand it.

I like Stephen Fry. Have you seen his episode of Who Do You Think You Are? Very touching. That being said, he's reminding me of Nathan Lane in La Cage Aux Folles. Only boozier.

  4. Well, I guess I'll be the one to say....congratulations!

  5. I like Stephen. If he's happy, so be it. The doll is a mod to Oscar Wilde, and he also tweeted a reference to Green Carnations, which explains both.

  6. I say congratulations. There was one line in his earliest book that was fantastic. When speaking about wine, he asked how they got the cat to balance on the bottle! :)

  7. He looks like my 16 year old niece's emo boyfriend.

  8. @ethorne, that was the first thing I thought - he reminded me of that emo looking guy who won AI some time back and was all over the place with his eyeliner.

  11. Are we certain that Spencer is indeed 27, because he looks 17. I guess it's possible to find true love with that kind of age difference but once the novelty wears off, what are you left with? There's no way I'm believing this. I'm sure Stephen FEELS like it's true love but I suspect it's not going to last. Sorry, glass half empty on this one.

  12. I love Stephen -- one of our patron saints of BiPD -- and I hope he can find some happiness here. That said, I'm a little sceptical and worried for him. Time will tell, I suppose.
