    1. yeah gina i was thinking when i heard that he died that maybe he was waiting for dad to die so daddy dearest didn't cut him out of will or lessen the will for having a half black illegitimate baby.. he is 80 he probably doesn't see things the same way people are age do..i bet there might have been a clause in daddy's will that he needed to remain married and faithful or at least appear faithful and happily married to see his inheritance.. the old guard can write anything they deem scandalous and shameful to be disinherited from massive$$$ estate inheritance..
if he contests will he can lose everything just like Francesca hilton
when her daddy died he left her a small inheritance and she contested it and was left with nothing, but that's why he put that clause in there, he knew she would fight for more$$ and she supposedly was not his biologically but he stepped up and "claimed" her as his to save zsa zsa's name and reputation and protect everyone knowing his wife was cheating on him

      long drivel today

happy birthday again gina!! did you have fun??

    4. My furbaby had a vasectomy Friday. I swear he's looking at me thinking "why momma why?"

      I've felt guilty all weekend.

    5. @califblondy, my purrball had to have a particularly unpleasant boy kitty surgery where they unblock the crystals in his urethra. He was seriously stoned the first day home and seriously annoyed the next week or so as the bandage from the anesthetic came off and he discovered part of his front forearm had been shaved. I tried to feel guilty but his glare is too stinking cute.

    6. @Sugar, thanks! Yes, I did have a ton of fun! I don't often drink and I'm a pretty small person so it doesn't take much but we owned the dance floor last night :)

  3. Oh, the stories that family has to tell! Seriously, a huge chunk of Hollywood film making runs through the fingers of that family.

If I could choose between acting (Tony) or producing (Dad), I'd so pick producing. As a producer you are afforded maximum SNARK!

    1. @Guido - lol you're right about that but Tony has done a lot of directing.

  4. Too bad he never published his memoirs. I'll bet his story is pretty interesting. Condolences to the family.

  5. His memoirs would probably get a lot of folks arrested (if any were still alive.)

  6. He's featured a good bit in Farley Granger's wonderful auto-biography. There's a tiny bit of Tony in that too, from what I recall.

And no, Goldwyn really wasn't in "MGM". He shared the surname of the "G", but he had zero to do with MGM. It was kinda like a fashion label nowadays, the name of "Goldwyn Pictures" got taken over by someone else, so the Goldwyn in MGM wasn't actually Sam Goldwyn.
