Iggy Azalea Victorious Over Jealous Ex

Iggy Azalea's ex-boyfriend Maurice Williams (aka Hefe Wine), has been trying to release early recordings of the rapper. The Hollywood Reporter states that Azalea just scored a victory in court: the defendants had forged her signature on a variety of documents claiming to give them the rights to any and all music she had ever recorded. So far the injunction is preliminary; the case will have to heard in another court to get a permanent injunction.

    2. Omg I want those 3 minutes back. I thought she was supposed to be some fashion darling that's the only reason I've heard of her besides blinds about her being a Ho. It was like cheap wanna be Gwen Steffani? Embarrassing

    4. Thanks for taking that bullet Delphine. All Whora is interested in is fucking her way to the middle. Her talent definitely isn't singing.

  3. Like you would just give away your rights to all your music (and money). What a couple of idiots. I would have liked to see them go before judge Judy with that story.

  4. Min, in all fairness people sign away publishing rights all day long trying to get famous thinking they'll make it back when they're huge.

    1. What I was questioning was the GIVING away of all her rights. It would make more sense if they said she had sold the rights to her earlier work, that sounds more believable.

I know there's loads of performers who had their work stolen (Elvis, and practically every Motown artist). I would think that kind of thing would be less prevalent in this day and age. With Iggy A. being as popular as she is now, I'd expect a lawyer to be in there somewhere because of the $$$

    2. she was a nobody when she was with her "husband" and he paid all her expenses. he could argue she signed away her rights to everything in exchange for him "making her" or connecting her to those who did
but apparently they forged her signature

    2. Paul Anka gave Carson 1/2 the song writing credit to the Tonight Show theme after Carson told him, "You can have 50% of something or 100% of nothing."
