Cher Donates Water to Michigan Town

The town of Flint, Michigan hasn't had safe drinking water since 2014, when cost-cutting measures by city officials led to drinking water tainted by lead. Unfortunately, residents didn't learn that they were drinking unsafe water for a year and a half, leading to many health problems. The Hollywood Reporter announces that Cher reached out of Brad Horwitz, an investor in water company Icelandic Glacial, and the pair are donating 181,444 bottles of water to the residents of Flint; the bottles should arrive at the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan on Wednesday. Cher stated, "This is a tragedy of staggering proportion and shocking that it's happening in the middle of our country."
