E! News reports that Lifetime has decided to remake Beaches, with Idina Menzel playing the role that Bette Midler made famous. What. The. Fuck. Jeez Lifetime, can't you just re-run the original instead? No word yet as to who will play Barbara Hershey's role, but as it is Lifetime, I remain optimistic that they will cast Tori Spelling in the role. Now that is something that I would watch.
