Emmy-winning actor Powers Boothe passed away at the age of 68 in his sleep of natural causes on Sunday morning. Boothe won an Emmy for his role as Jim Jones in Guyana Tragedy: The Story of Jim Jones. He was nominated for ensemble SAG awards for his work on Nixon and Deadwood. He appears in movies, from Frailty to Sin City, and his most recent TV roles were as Connie Britton's father on Nashville, and as Gideon Malick on Agents of SHIELD.
