Gwyneth Paltrow's Stalker Takes The Stand, Gets Creepier

Page Six reports that in the ongoing Gwyneth Paltrow stalking trial, Paltrow's stalker of 17 years Dante Soiu took the stand to testify in his own defense. He previously spent time in a mental institution after sending Paltrow 500 messages, sex toys, and pornography between 1999 and 2000. So what does any good stalker do as soon as they get out of the looney bin for stalking? Start stalking again, of course!

Soiu gave this as his reason for the continued stalking, "I was trying to show I had changed and I had become a different person. I wanted to show a new face towards her," pointing to the fact that this time around, he hasn't sent her any sex toys or pornography. Also, "I wanted her to say flat out, 'I don't want to marry you.' That way I would have a definite response from her." Um, until you get a "yes" on that question from anyone, I think the "no" is implied.

Lest you think Paltrow was the only person he was writing to, Soiu said he has written to President Barack Obama, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Russian President Vladimir Putin to offer them solutions on world affairs. As to whether or not he wants to marry anyone aside from Patrow, "Oh, no, I don't want to marry Putin." Somewhere, Gerard Depardieu just let out a sigh of relief.
