The Daily Show Has A New Host

Comedian Trevor Noah has landed the gig as the next host of Comedy Central's The Daily Show. The 31-year-old South African recently sat down with The New York Times to discuss his new role. The magazine quotes him as follows, when talking about booking the gig and getting advice from departing host Jon Stewart:

"You don't believe it for the first hew hours. You need a stiff drink..."

"He told me, 'I was where you were when I took over the show. Nobody knew me. I was just starting out, finding my voice, and that's when I was handed this seat.' Now, it's my turn to steer the ship."
