On last night's Dancing With the Stars, Maksim Chmerkovskiy was a no-show. Erin Andrews announced at the top of the show, “Maks is dealing with a personal issue so Alan is stepping in and dancing with Vanessa tonight.” Apparently that personal issue is that Maksim Chmerkovskiy and partner Vanessa Lachey cannot stand each other! Sources tell People, “There’s a big chemistry issue. They both have big personalities and that’s not always the best recipe for a good partnership...They’ve been fighting a lot.”
Another source reached out to E! News to say, "Their personalities have completely clashed and they really don't get along off set...[they] can't find middle ground."
Things must be really bad, because Maksim Chmerkovskiy notoriously hated past partner Hope Solo, but he never ditched out on one of her performances!
