Randy Travis, 55, quietly wed Mary Davis last month, reports Us Weekly. Travis suffered a debilitating stroke two years ago; the couple had been engaged since before he had his stroke. Travis recently made a surprise appearance at the Academy of Country Music Awards, where he had this to say to his fans:
"The kind cards and heartfelt letters of testimony and encouragement brought me through the darkest of days. Mary read each and every one of them to me and I felt the love and concern being sent my way; and I gathered strength from this."
