The Bachelor's Chris Soules Arrested After Fatal Car Crash

TMZ reports that former Bachelor Chris Soules was arrested in Iowa after fleeing the seen of a car accident which proved fatal. The accident occurred at 8:20pm on Monday night; it appears that Soules' pickup truck rear-ended a tractor trailer, which sent both vehicles into a ditch. When Soules got his car out of the ditch, he left the scene of the accident and drove home. Locals identified him to the police, and he was arrested at his home, 15 miles from the site of the crash, at 1am. The Sheriff's Department is investigating whether or not Soules was under the influence at the time of the crash, which will be difficult to prove due to the long time period between the accident and the arrest. Soules was previously arrested for DUI in 2005. If convicted of this Class D felony, Soules faces up to 5 years in prison.
