Page Six reports that (former?) New York Knick Carmelo Anthony, 32, and wife La La Anthony, 37, have split after seven years of marriage. Carmelo does not seem to be having a good year; the Knicks are also looking to trade him after an abysmal season. La La has moved out of the couple's home (I would assume she took their 10-year-old son Kiyan with her).
“Especially if he isn’t going to be in NYC, why would she want to be traipsing around to a city like Cleveland so he can go win a ring?...At the very beginning, he was so smitten and in love with her. She was on TV and he was so young. Their relationship was legit. At the end of his Denver stint and beginning of his New York stint, it became more about their business arrangement...It’s very much a Hollywood relationship. They’ve lived separate lives for years.”
