Alan Thicke passed away suddenly on Tuesday at the age of 69 after suffering a heart attack while playing hockey with his son Carter. Thicke is best known for his role as Jason Seaver on the ABC sitcom Growing Pains, which aired from 1985 to 1992. Thicke was also a prolific songwriter, who penned the themes to sitcoms Hello, Larry; Diff’rent Strokes; and The Facts of Life. Alan is survived by his wife Tanya, and sons Brennan, 41, Robin, 39, and Carter, 19. Read his full obituary at The Hollywood Reporter.
