Author Pat Conroy, who wrote The Prince of Tides and The Lords of Discipline, among others, has passed away from pancreatic cancer at the age of 70. Conroy is survived by wife Cassandra King, five daughters, Emily Conroy, Jessica Conroy, Melissa Conroy, Megan Conroy and Susannah Ansley Conroy; two sisters, Kathy and Carol Ann; three brothers, Jim, Tim and Mike; and seven grandchildren.
