People reports that model Jerry Hall, 59, is engaged to real-life Emperor Palpatine Rupert Murdoch, 84. The couple have been together for four months. They took out the following notice in one of Murdoch's many papers, The Times: "Mr Rupert Murdoch, father of Prudence, Elisabeth, Lachlan, James, Grace and Chloe Murdoch, and Miss Jerry Hall, mother of Elizabeth, James, Georgia and Gabriel Jagger are delighted to announce their engagement." This will be the first trip down the aisle for Jerry; she was in a relationship with Mick Jagger from 1977 to 1999, and the couple share four children together. This will be the fourth marriage for Rupert; he has six children from previous marriages.
