Roger Rees, who won a Tony for his lead role in The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby, has passed away at the age of 71. Rees died at home in New York; he had been battling cancer. Rees had a long and varied career with many memorable performances. Read his obituary at the New York Times.
