The Hollywood Reporter recently caught up with Cara Delevingne, where she talked about the career advice given to her by Rihanna. The publication quotes her as follows:
On how she felt after her first movie project fell through:
"I was heartbroken. With modeling, if someone else gets a job, I’m like, Yeah, of course, there are so many better models. But with acting, you grow such an attachment to each role."
And the advice Rihanna gave her:
"Everything happens for a reason. You are going to call me back up in a week or two, and you are going to say to me, 'You are right.'"
And soon after that, Delevingne booked Paper Towns.
