TMZ reports that Asia Frontman John Wetton has passed away at the age of 67 after a battle with cancer. Wetton formed the supergroup Asia in 1981 with guitarist Steve Howe of Yes, keyboardist Geoff Downes of Yes and The Buggles, and drummer Carl Palmer of Emerson, Lake & Palmer. Wetton left the group for a time, but returned for their later albums. Wetton is survived by his wife Lisa and son Dylan.
