TMZ reports that actor Anton Yelchin has passed away at the age of 27. He was found by friends at his residence early this morning pinned between his car and a brick mailbox; the car was in neutral with the engine running (his driveway had a steep incline). Police do not suspect foul play. Yelchin played Chekov in the JJ Abrams Star Trek movies.
