Page Six reports that due to Terrence Howard's ongoing personal drama, his role in the second season of Empire is being scaled back. If you're one of the few people who have not started watching Empire yet, but plan to in the future, then stop reading this post immediately because there are season one spoilers ahead. Seriously, stop reading and leave. Still here? Well, you got fair warning. A source states about the storyline that send Lucious to prison at the end of Season 1:
"What they are doing is two-fold. They have him locked up so you won't be seeing him in as many scenes. But they are bringing in so many, and I mean so many, guest stars and cameos that the average viewer won't realize it because there is so much going on."
And good news for Cookie fans; Howard's absence will bring her storyline to the forefront:
"She's going to start dropping off from the flashback scenes and then they're going to have her guns blazing."
