Many publications have tried (and failed) over the years to publish an exposé on Harvey Weinstein just like the one in the NY Times that came out last week. So what made this time different? Page Six posits that Harvey Weinstein's own brother Bob Weinstein, may have been the mastermind behind the exposé. Sources tell Page Six, “Bob’s wanted Harvey out for years...Bob may have even fed this story...Bob wanted Harvey to get what’s coming to him...There has always been a love-hate relationship between the brothers...There have been times they wouldn’t speak for months. Let’s just say they have an ‘inconsistent’ relationship...Bob’s trying to take over and push Harvey out.”
For what it's worth, Bob Weinstein told the post, “These assertions are untrue.”
