Page Six reports that Harvey Weinstein has been fired from The Weinstein company, effective immediately. The Weinstein Company released the following statement:
“In light of new information about misconduct by Harvey Weinstein that has emerged in the past few days, the directors of The Weinstein Company – Robert Weinstein, Lance Maerov, Richard Koenigsberg and Tarak Ben Ammar – have determined, and have informed Harvey Weinstein, that his employment with The Weinstein Company is terminated, effective immediately.”
No word yet from wife of 10 years Georgina Chapman. Upon further review, although the couple married in 2007, it looks like it has not quite been 10 years, for they tied the knot on December 16th. Perhaps Georgina is just running out the clock to the magical 10 year mark?
