Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder recently appeared on Dr. Berlin's Informed Pregnancy podcast, where they joked about how they started their journey to welcoming their first human into the world. Here's what they had to say, as reprinted by Us Weekly:

Nikki: "[He] threw out all my birth control pills."

Ian: "We decided that we wanted to have children together, and it was just time. But unbeknownst to poor Nikki, she didn't realize that I was going to go in her purse and take out her birth control. By the way, it was the beginning of the pack, so I had to pop all those suckers out...Actually, now thinking about it, I guess I kind of decided [to start a family].

But since nobody bothers to actually listen to the actual podcast before writing articles about it, everyone on the Internet decided that Ian Somerhalder was absolutely not joking and had forced Nikki Reed to get pregnant against her will.
