When Bob Dylan didn't immediately comment on the news that he had won a Nobel Peace Prize for literature, many interpreted it as a snub on the honor. But when David Crosby recently appeared on Watch What Happens Live, he offered a simpler explanation: Apparently Bob Dylan lives somewhat off the grid, and Crosby surmised that he simply hadn't heard about the honor yet. Turns out Crosby is right, and someone has finally gotten a hold of Bob Dylan! Here's what he had to say about the honor, as reprinted by The Hollywood Reporter:
"The news about the Nobel Prize left me speechless. I appreciate the honor so much."
As for attending the December ceremony in Stockholm, Sweden, Dylan indicated that he would "absolutely" attend "if it's at all possible."
