NBC has cast the role of Auntie Em in their live adaptation of The Wiz. People reports that Stephanie Mills will fill the role. Mills originated the role of Dorothy when The Wiz first came to Broadway in 1975.
In FX's forthcoming American Crime Story: The People V OJ Simpson, the role of Kris Jenner has finally been cast! Us Weekly reports that Selma Blair will be filling the role of everyone's favorite pimp, er, momager.
Departures:
Luke Spencer is checking out of General Hospital after 28 years. Anthony Geary, 67, recently told TV Line, "I'm just weary of the grind and have been for 20 years. I really don't want to die, collapsing in a heap, on that GH set one day. That wouldn't be too poetic."
