TV Show Roundup 5/13/16

Cancellations:
E! News reports that CBS has cancelled CSI: Cyber after two seasons. Well, it's not like people couldn't see it coming. The season finale was very much a series finale.

ABC has cancelled Nashville after four seasons, reports E! News. It was a mercy killing, really. Now I can delete all the crap unwatched episodes off the DVR.

Actually, ABC really got out their carving knives, because TV Line announces that they also cancelled CastleGalavant, The Muppets, Agent Carter, and The Family.

Fox cancelled both The Grinder and Grandfathered, reports E! News.

New Show:
The Hollywood Reporter announces that Joel Kinnaman is headed to Netflix to star in the Sci-Fi drama Altered Carbon, based on the 2002 novel of the same name.

Renewals:
E! News reports that Supergirl has been renewed for a second season, but not by CBS. The show will be moving to the CW, where it will join other comicbook fare Arrow, the Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow. Apparently the "C" in CW stands for Comics.

ABC has renewed American Crime, The Real O'Neals, and The Catch, according to TV Line.
