The family of Marvin Gaye sued Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams for copyright infringement over the song Blurred Lines. The family argued that Blurred Lines copied Gaye's song Got To Give It Up. Variety reports that a jury in Los Angeles ruled yesterday afternoon that Blurred Lines is in fact copyright infringement, and ordered Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams to pay the family of Marvin Gaye $7.3 million.
