Us Weekly's cover story this week is the Bennifer split. Nanny Christine Ouzounian was spotted with Affleck at his rental home on July 17th; so much for those denials from Ben. A source states of the pair, "The would have out without the kids. And they were very flirty." People reports that Ouzounian is currently laying low at the Hotel Bel-Air, and that Affleck is paying her expenses there.
People also has a source from Ben's camp that's trying to turn the tide in his favour, by telling the magazine that he is not having a relationship with the nanny. "Ben's friendly, but it's not always meant to be flirty. This was a very close relationship with someone who was taking care of the most important people in his life. People want to fault him for that." As for the reason behind the split, this source blames Garner's "constant nitpicking" of Affleck: "When you are made to feel like an inadequate husband over and over again, your friends are going to say maybe this isn't working out."
