It has been seven and a half years since Britney Spears was placed under a conservatorship, and it's working so well that TMZ reports that it will continue on for her lifetime. She is actually under two different conservatorships: one for her, and another for her finances. She went from almost losing her kids at the peak of her breakdown, to being a great parents and being able to maintain a personal life. And her finances, once in near ruin, have turned around as well: she made $14 million under the conservatorship last year. A source is quoted as saying she has "substantial day-to-day freedom" in her decision making. Hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
