Here's something I bet you never thought you'd say: I'm siding with Paris Hilton. But by the end of this post, you will. Paris Hilton was recently the victim of one of those prank TV shows, this time with an Egyptian host in Dubai. The show thought it would be an awesome idea to get Paris Hilton on a plane, and then fake crash it and make her think she was about to die! Sounds super fun, right? How did anyone think this would be appropriate? During the prank, the pilot "pretends" to shut off the plane's engine nosedives the plane almost hitting the water, then pulls up so steeply that the plan almost does a loop. And to top it off, they open up the back of the plane, and a couple of the passengers parachute to safety. You know, because everyone aboard is about to die.
LAist reports that Paris Hilton will be suing the TV show for the prank, stating she was in mortal fear for her life, and is now completely freaked out over flying anywhere, which is pretty much how she makes her living. I won't embed the video, because it's that traumatic. I seriously have like second-hand PTSD just from watching it. The original five-minute video has been taken off of YouTube, but if you're so inclined, you can watch a clip from the video at TMZ. Don't say I didn't warn you! By the end of the video, I had forgiven Paris for every bad thing she'd ever done. It's that intense.
