In news that will be a shock to no one that reads celebrity gossip, TMZ has reported that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are headed for divorce. They are working everything out with mediators, and will wait until they have all issues, including custody of their three children, settled before they officially file. The couple has released the following statement:
"After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time. This will be our only comment on this private family matter. Thank you for understanding."
No word from J Lo yet, but I'm guessing her statement will sound something like:
