Recently, a group of ten physicians at Columbia University sent a letter to a dean demanding the removal of Dr. Mehmet Oz from his faculty position at Columbia. Page Six quotes the letter as follows:
"Dr. Oz has repeatedly shown disdain for science and for evidence-based medicine. [He] has manifested an egregious lack of integrity by promoting quack treatments and cures in the interest of personal financial gain."
The dean denied the request of the physicians.
