Mark Salling Settles In Assault Case

Remember years ago when Roxanne Gorzela accused Mark Salling of forcing her to have sex without a condom, and then when she confronted him later about it, claimed that he assualted her? Well, TMZ reports that the case has finally been resolved. Here's where it gets interesting. A judge has awarded the following in damages to Gorzela:

Past medicals  $64,155

Future medicals $666,000

Past non-economic damages $180,000

Future non-economic damages (pain and suffering) $1.8 million

Grand total:  $2,710,155

The interesting part is who's paying - State Farm. The terms of the settlement are such that Gorzela went after Salling's insurer, State Farm, and not Salling himself. The more interesting part is that Salling gets a cut of the money that is paid to Gorzela.
