This busy acting couple was shopping for a Christmas tree last weekend.
"They got in a big fight. She wanted this one tree, but he kept saying no. He was yelling, “Don’t be ridiculous! I’m not paying $500 for a fucking Christmas tree! Only an idiot would do that!” She was yelling, “Only an idiot would be so fucking cheap! It’s Christmas, for fucks sake! It’s only once a year!” Then they seemed to realize I was standing close enough to hear them, so they moved farther away and kept their voices lower but they kept fighting. Actually, I was more surprised that they were swearing at each other than anything. They always seemed too nice to swear!"
Our couple is over 40… and it is a little disconcerting to think of them screaming and swearing at each other. Why? He always plays the nice guy.
