Sir Roger Moore, who played James Bond in seven films, has passed away at the age of 89 after a battle with cancer. Moore's first bond film was Live and Let Die in 1973. His tenure as James Bond lasted 12 years, making him the longest running actor in the role. Moore was knighted for his charity work, and he worked as a Unicef goodwill ambassador. Moore is survived by his wife Kristina Tholstrup, and three children. Read his full obituary at The Guardian.
