Derek Jeter Talks Gift Bag Rumours

For years, there have been rumours circulating that Derek Jeter gives a morning after gift basket to his one night stands. Jeter finally denied the rumours, as quoted by Us Weekly:

“On top of it, it was a gift basket of my own memorabilia. So, it’s a dumb story. And you really have to be dumber to believe it. But they [the public] believe it."

On why he had taken so long to address the rumour:

"Once you address it, you have to address every single rumor that comes out and then if one time if you don’t, they automatically assume it’s true.”

So there you have it, folks! If you have a one night stand with Derek Jeter, you don't get a gift basket full of memorabilia (you just get the gift that keeps on giving, the whole year).
