TMZ reports that Cathriona White, 28, who dated Jim Carrey 53, on and off since 2012, passed away on Monday from an intentional overdose. The two had recently broken up again; sources state that there were pills found, along with a suicide not addressed to Carrey which referenced their breakup on September 24th. White was the same age as Carrey's daughter Jane. She had moved to Los Angeles from Ireland in hopes of becoming an actress and stylist. Carrey released the following statement: "I am shocked and deeply saddened by the passing of my sweet Cathriona. She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparkled. My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who loved and cared about her. We have all been hit with a lightning bolt."
