Helen Mirren Talks Onscreen Nudity

Actress Helen Mirren, 70,  recently sat down for an interview with Alan Cumming, where she talked about her past on-screen nudity. Us Weekly reprints her remarks as follows:

“I didn’t know my boobs were legendary. There are much more legendary boobs than mine. I never wanted to do that. But you know, I thought, ‘Does it really matter?’ It’s not a thing to get your knickers in a twist over. I was doing nude scenes from the first moment I started doing movies. It was the era...That’s the good thing about getting older, you don’t have to do that sort of thing anymore. My pleasure pillows are purely for my husband.”
