Dick Van Patten Has Died

Actor and animal welfare advocate Dick Van Patten has passed away at the age of 86. He became famous for his role on Eight is Enough, which enabled him to launch Natural Balance Pet Foods. He also founded National Guide Dog Month. Van Patten is survived by his wife Patricia Poole, and their three sons Vincent, Nels, and Jimmy. Read his obituary at the New York Daily News.
