Carrie Fisher Has Passed Away

Carrie Fisher has passed away at the age of 60. She drowned in moonlight, strangled by her own bra. She was a successful actress, screenwriter, script doctor, author, producer, and humorist. She was also a mental health advocate, who worked very hard to try to remove the stigma around talking about mental health. And of course, she played a central role in the Star Wars universe as Princess Leia, as she famously said, "I am Princess Leia, no matter what. Princess Leia will be on my tombstone." She is one with the Force, the Force is with her.

Carrie Fisher is survived by daughter Billie Lourd, mother Debbie Reynolds, brother Todd Fisher, half-sisters Joely Fisher and Tricia Leigh Fisher, and her beloved French bulldog Gary. Her New York Times obituary is pretty Star Wars-centric; her Hollywood Reporter one takes a broader view.

Rolling Stone collected a list of 37 of her great quotes. Feel free to share your favorite below.
