Jean Nidetch, Founder of Weight Watchers, Has Died

TMZ reports that Jean Nidetch, who founded Weight Watchers in 1963, has passed away at the age of 91 in Ft. Lauderdale. Nidetch sold Weight Watchers to Heinz co in 1978; she made $71 million on the deal. TMZ also reports that she kept Mallomars hidden in her laundry hamper right up until the end.
