Karl Lagerfeld to Open Hotel

The Hollywood Reporter announces that Karl Lagerfeld has signed a licensing deal with Brandmark Collective to start up an international hospitality brand to be called Karl Lagerfeld Hotel and Resorts. Lagerfeld will hep to develop hotels, restaurants, clubs, and residential real estate for the brand. This isn't his first foray into hospitality - Lagerfeld has designed hotel suites in Paris, and the lobbies at the Estates at Acqualina in Miami. No doubt the staff will be trained to look down on all of the patrons with the appropriate amount of haughty derision.
