Very weird to hear things like "that was during COVID" or "as we emerge from the pandemic" while every day 1,000+ people die in the U.S. alone, and 100,000+ are hospitalized, the highest levels since winter. Didn't need to happen but it is.

I just heard a doctor say something on MSNBC that really caught my attention. She said one person dies from COVID every 48 seconds in this country. She also said we must stop coddling the unvaccinated -- those who have tantrums at city council & school board meetings. I agree.
