Sex and the City Creator Darren Star Talks Show's Ending
Up until now, Darren Star, the man who created Sex and the City but eft the show by the time it ended, had remained mum on what he thought of how it all ended. But in a new interview with Kindle Singles, he finally breaks his silence, and has this to say, as reprinted by People:
"For me, in a way – and I didn't [write] those last episodes – if you're empowering other people to write and produce your show, you can't ... say certain things. At a certain point, you've got to let them follow their vision. … But I think the show ultimately betrayed what it was about, which was that women don't ultimately find happiness from marriage. Not that they can't. But the show initially was going off script from the romantic comedies that had come before it. That's what had made women so attached. At the end, it became a conventional romantic comedy. But unless you're there to write every episode, you're not going to get the ending you want."

Cher Donates Water to Michigan Town
The town of Flint, Michigan hasn't had safe drinking water since 2014, when cost-cutting measures by city officials led to drinking water tainted by lead. Unfortunately, residents didn't learn that they were drinking unsafe water for a year and a half, leading to many health problems. The Hollywood Reporter announces that Cher reached out of Brad Horwitz, an investor in water company Icelandic Glacial, and the pair are donating 181,444 bottles of water to the residents of Flint; the bottles should arrive at the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan on Wednesday. Cher stated, "This is a tragedy of staggering proportion and shocking that it's happening in the middle of our country."
The Onion King Thinks He's An Actor Now
Page Six reports that Onion King Nick Loeb was doing the ho stroll to all the Golden Globes parties, telling everyone he met that while his full time job is to make sure that Sofia Vergara's embryo's implanted against her will, he managed to find time to get cast in six movies. Imagine my shock when I pulled up his IMDB, and he actually has three titles in production. People actually cast this dude?!
