Saw our son's neurologist in Detroit today. Her summary of covid:
1. She's seeing "a lot" of strokes, brain damage, and sudden NON-MI cardiac arrests-- in young people-- as are her colleagues in other specialties.
2. Lots of nurses who had covid and "can't think anymore

As far as I’m concerned everyone can fuck off with their hot takes about people being Covid neurotic or Covid hysterical. I have long Covid. I had to change my job responsibilities bc of it. I’m not getting it again. I have an immunocompromised parent. Not. Getting. It. Again.
