UK cases reach 309,000 cases per day affecting currently over 1 in 20 people as this fifth wave of omicron BA5 shows no signs of slowing and hospitals filling up steadily. Still no signs of advice for the public - as U.K. supposedly the first to beat Covid @Join_ZOE pic.twitter.com/nC9EkmtmyG

🚨According to experts, these are the #LongCovid risk groups:
— Jonas R. Kunst (@KunstJonas) July 3, 2022
1) re-infected
2) high viral load during infection
3) dormant Epstein-Barr Virus
4) autoimmune antibodies
6) unvaccinated
In short, there is no "risk group". Almost everyone is at risk. https://t.co/TYKdyseY5a
I cannot believe how hard it is to help the world understand that the virus that causes COVID-19 is airborne. You can protect yourself with better masks, ventilation, and filtered indoor air. It is that simple.

10 days post-wedding, we’ve had zero new COVID cases among all the attendees (approx. 150 people.) Was it the masking? Was it the Corsi-Rosenthal boxes? Was it a 99.9% vaccinated and boosted attendee list? It was all of the above. We prioritized safety AND had a great time. Fin.

This should be a proper “oops” moment in our #COVID19 response, and quite possibly an “oh shit” one

Here is real world data confirming earlier predictions that the time between covid waves would progressively decrease
Why is this so concerning? 🧵 https://t.co/DHULAQGnuM
It makes no sense that as COVID becomes more highly transmissible, the dominant policy has been to completely abandon masks, when the logical reaction should have been to do the opposite and increase mask protection by recommending and distributing N95s to everyone.
