Where light exists, it is pure, blazing, fierce; but light exists almost nowhere, and the blackness itself is also pure and blazing and fierce.” - Carl Sagan ✨🇮🇸✨ What a wonderful feeling, to sit in silent awe of something I’ve wanted to see all my life, to feel so infinitesimally small and yet simultaneously so grateful for the fact I am a microscopically tiny witness to this universe at all. It seems so improbable sometimes, this life. Of all the possibilities, of all the billions of tiny happenings that had to go just so for me to exist, for me to BE at all, and then on top of that to get to be HERE, tonight, beneath a glowing emerald sky... Whatever the future holds for me, I’ll forever be dumbfounded by the 29 years I’ve gotten to walk in my shoes so far. They have already been on so many shores, walked side by side with truly incredible people, and stood in awe of a world they’ll never fully grasp. I can likely never be grateful enough for this life... but I will damn well continue to try by living it as fully as I can! ✨💫✨ 📷 @lanedorsey #northernlights #iceland
