Page Six reports that Britney Spears was honored over the weekend for her charitable contributions to the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation when they opened the Britney Spears Campus in Las Vegas. Spears said at the ceremony, “I’m just really excited to be standing here for our new NCCF campus. We started fundraising in 2014 and we’ve raised $1 million to build this amazing facility to support the kids and families everywhere. I’m so thankful to everyone for their generosity in making this a reality and making this happen.”
Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation CEO Jeff Gordon stated, “We can’t thank Britney enough being able to do this. Our dream for many, many years has been to be able to have one building that all of our 45 programs can come together in one place. And that we are able to do today. And that doesn’t happen without someone like Britney Spears.”
