Oliva Munn Talks Romance With Aaron Rodgers

Olivia Munn recently opened up to E! News about how romantic boyfriend Aaron Rodgers is. She is quoted as follows, talking about Oscar morning:

"I wanted to go to the grocery store to get some fruit and coffee and everything for the glam team coming over. But my boyfriend is so sweet. He said, 'No, just keep resting.' He ran to the store and picked up the croissants and bagels and fruit and vegetables. He went to Starbucks and got one of those big things of coffee for everybody. It was really sweet. I'm happy he's here with me because it makes it so much less stressful. When you're at this kind of thing with someone like him, when you smile it comes from the inside. He's the best date. He's so easygoing and he's fun.

It's the most fascinating thing to watch when the studio heads and the executives—the people that can make or break my career—they're just standing in line to talk to him...He does commercials and does a really good job. But I think he's going to be doing football for quite some time more."

Sam Smith Apologizes For Oscars Gaffe

When Sam Smith won his Best Original Song Oscar last night, he said this in his acceptance speech, as reprinted by E! News: "I read an article a few months ago by Sir Ian McKellen, and he said that no openly gay man had ever won an Oscar. If this is the case—even if it isn't the case—I want to dedicate this to the LGBT community all around the world."

Well, he misquoted Sir Ian, who was talking specifically about the Best Actor award. One of the previous openly gay Oscar winners took umbrage to Smith's remark. Dustin Lance Black, the screenwriter who won an Oscar for Milk, took to Twitter to state the following:

"Hey @SamSmithWorld, if you have no idea who I am, it may be time to stop texting my fiancé." (Black's fiance is Olympic diver Tom Daley, 21)

Yesterday, Smith apologized for the gaffe, stating on Twitter:
"Second openly gay man to win an oscar or third or fourth or 100th, It wasn't my point. My point was to shine some light on the LGBT community who i love so dearly. Apologies for the mix up @DLanceBlack I'll be sure to check out your films now x Belated Congrats on the Oscar x."

Black responded, clearing the air:
"@SamSmith Congratulations. Drink water. Rest. But do check out some of the other Gay Oscar work out there. Some truly wonderful stuff. This has proven to be a lively day on Twitter. From humor to anger. The former my intent... in defense of history. Much love to all...Dear Internet: @TomDaley1994 and @samsmithworld are pals. They text. Thus my surprise Sam took me for a closet case! Feel free to laugh."
